After receiving an acceptance letter to my dream Ph.D. program, I found myself at a crossroads. The allure of academia was strong, but an unexpected opportunity arose when I was offered a position at an innovative startup. I made the bold decision to forgo my academic aspirations in favor of this new venture.

This experience taught me valuable lessons about risk, ambition, and the importance of having a backup plan, as I navigate the next steps in my career.
