The West End Business Association is pushing to put local shops and services in the spotlight with a bigger version of its annual community festival. Best of the West returns for a third year on Saturday, June 6, running from noon to 6 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park in the Cameron Station neighborhood.
This year's event promises a larger footprint than previous editions, with more vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities spread across the park grounds. Organizers say the expansion reflects growing interest from both businesses and residents in celebrating the West End's commercial district.
Attendees can expect food trucks, local craft vendors, and interactive booths from area businesses. The park setting offers plenty of space for kids' games and lawn seating for live music performances throughout the afternoon.
The festival has become a key tool for the business association to boost visibility for West End merchants. By drawing crowds to Ben Brenman Park, the event aims to connect residents directly with the shops, restaurants, and services that make up the neighborhood's commercial core. Parking is available nearby, and the event is open to the public at no charge.
