As we envision our future, we dream of making Key West our permanent home after we retire and our children have moved out. The idea of waking up to the sound of ocean waves and enjoying leisurely strolls along the waterfront is incredibly appealing. We imagine ourselves becoming part of the local community, participating in events, and embracing the unique culture that Key West has to offer.
